Lafayette 72 Hour Booking Records
Lafayette 72 hour booking records are now available through a new online system called the 365Labs Community Portal. The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office switched to this platform in September 2024 after replacing the old JADES system. The portal has a "Recent Bookings" checkbox that shows everyone booked in the last 72 hours. Lafayette and Lafayette Parish share a consolidated government, so one system covers all city and parish arrests. This guide walks you through how to use the 365Labs portal and other tools to find recent Lafayette booking data.
Lafayette Quick Facts
Lafayette 72 Hour Booking on 365Labs
The 365Labs Community Portal is the main tool for searching Lafayette booking records. The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office put this system in place in September 2024. It replaced the JADES system that the parish had used for years. The new portal works well and has a built-in 72-hour booking filter.
To search for recent Lafayette bookings, you need a free account. Here is how to use the system:
- Go to the 365Labs portal and create a free account or sign in
- Select "Lookup Inmates" from the menu
- Check the "Recent Bookings" box to see only the last 72 hours
- Leave the search fields blank and click Search to see all recent bookings
- Or enter a first name, last name, or booking number for a specific person
This is one of the few systems in Louisiana that has a dedicated 72-hour filter built right into the search tool. Most parishes just show a general inmate roster. Lafayette gives you the option to see only the most recent bookings, which saves time if you just want to check who was brought in over the past three days.
The 365Labs portal is where Lafayette Parish now posts all 72 hour booking records, showing currently housed inmates and recently booked individuals.
The portal lets you filter results by recent bookings or view all current inmates at the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.

The Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office website has details on the corrections division and the transition from JADES to 365Labs. This screenshot shows the sheriff's office homepage.
The sheriff's site has a page with step-by-step instructions for using the 365Labs portal. If you are not sure how to navigate the new system, that page walks you through each step with details on what to click. The old JADES system is no longer active, so do not try to use old JADES links. They will not work.
Note: During the system transition, some demographic info like date of birth, race, and height may be missing from older records.
LAVINE for Lafayette Booking Records
The Lafayette Parish LAVINE roster is a backup option for searching booking data. LAVINE is the state system that all parishes feed into. It shows current inmates and updates about every 30 minutes. You can use it if the 365Labs portal is down or if you want to check Lafayette bookings through the same system used by other parishes.
LAVINE also has a notification feature. You can register to get alerts when an inmate's status changes. If someone bonds out or gets moved to a different facility, the system will let you know. The VineLink national system works the same way. Both are free to use. The green checkmark next to an inmate record on the 365Labs portal links directly to the VINE registration page for that person.
How 72 Hour Booking Works in Lafayette
When someone is arrested in Lafayette, the arresting officer brings them to the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center. The booking process creates a record with the person's name, charges, date of birth, and a mugshot. This record goes live in the 365Labs system right away.
Under Louisiana Code of Criminal Procedure Article 230.1, the arrested person must see a judge within 72 hours. This is the initial appearance hearing. The court reviews whether there was probable cause for the arrest. If the state does not bring the person before a judge in time, the person can ask for release. Under La. R.S. 44:1, booking records are public in Lafayette. Anyone can search them. You do not need a reason. The 365Labs portal and the LAVINE roster both provide this access for free.
